Research News

For the launch of a special edition of DIT Research News featuring women in STEM for International Women's Day, I had the opportunity to art direct the photography and design the magazine layout.

Challenge

The challenge was to create a visually compelling and informative publication that celebrated and inspired women in STEM, highlighting their remarkable contributions in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

Assets

Working with photographer Jason Clarke, we captured powerful images for the cover and inside pages. I carefully selected these images and designed the layout to effectively convey the significance and impact of the featured women's achievements.

Responsibilities

I was responsible for art directing the photography, ensuring that the images captured the essence of the women in STEM. Additionally, I designed the entire layout of the magazine, creating a visually appealing and cohesive publication.

Impact

The special edition successfully highlighted the accomplishments of women in traditionally male-dominated fields, celebrating their achievements and inspiring future generations. The visually compelling design and thoughtful content were well-received, making a significant impact on readers and contributing to the recognition of women in STEM.
